Zero Data Selling Guarantee: Handyfy never sells, rents, or monetizes your personal data or phone number to third-party advertisers.

We use your information exclusively to:

  • Match customers with local handymen within their geographic vicinity.
  • Facilitate real-time communications (chat, audio/video call signaling, and appointment notifications).
  • Verify handyman credentials to ensure customer safety and platform integrity.
  • Display verified ratings and reviews to help users make informed decisions.
  • Provide customer support, dispute resolution, and security alerts.

4. Geolocation & Device Permissions

Handyfy uses location services to find handymen closest to your location:

  • You always retain full control over location permissions in your browser or device settings.
  • You can always opt to enter your address manually without sharing your device's GPS signal.
  • Location data is only shared with the specific handyman assigned to your confirmed booking so they can arrive at the right address.

5. Data Security & Storage

We employ industry-standard encryption, strict database access controls, secure session tokens (JWT), and SSL/TLS transport layer encryption to prevent unauthorized data access, leakage, or loss.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Under the NDPA, you have the right to access, rectify, update, or request deletion of your personal account data at any time through your Profile Settings or by emailing our Data Protection contact.
